Moisture Separators separate out the liquid which Condense during cooling in the Aftercooler, Separation Is by change of flow direction (baffle type) or by Centrifugal action (Centrifugal type), or combination of Both types (as seen in the figure). Baffle type Separators are simple devices, ideal for coarse Separation and are generally supplied along with the Aftercooler, Centrifugal type is more efficient Because of its cyclonic action. Demister Pads (for Removing fine mist) in the outlet further enhance the Separation efficiency. Separated liquids effectively drained by auto drain valve.

A-1 Air Speciality offers efficient auto drain valve. Auto drain valves are a boon for maintenance engineers. It flushes out condensate waste liquid from Air Receiver, Moisture Separator, Filter etc.

Accessory equipment such as water seal tank and extra large basket strainer can also be provided on request. Auto drain valves are available in 1/2" and 1" sizes for operating pressures 3 bar to 40 bar.

Air Receivers provides adequate storage of compressed air to feed in line with demand. It stabilises pulsation of compressed air, cool it, allow moisture to accumulate at bottom part. It saves compressor from overload run & overheat and enhance life of electricals by adequate cooling time.
